Ripples in Time is an introspective art collection that delves into the complexities of human existence through the medium of clay into abstract ceramic forms. The artworks are designed to emphasize movement, contours and shapes, reflecting the inherent irregularities present in life’s journey.
The central theme of Ripples in Time is the idea that life is comprised of interconnected movements and curves, much like the sculptures themselves. The collection invites viewers to connect with their own life narratives. It highlights the dynamic flow of existence, acknowledging that every life stage presents distinct challenges that necessitate adaptation and growth, revealing how our emotions and experiences affect both ourselves and our environments.
Featuring fluid and intricate forms, the sculptures echo the diverse pathways we navigate in life. At times, our journeys can feel seamless, marked by tranquility and ease, enabling a free flow of energy and emotions. Conversely, there are moments characterized by obstacles and friction that compel us to confront hardships. This rich contrast is vividly expressed in the collection, where the interplay of light, shape, and color generates a visceral response, inviting viewers into a sensory dialogue. It encourages exploration of both familiar and unfamiliar themes, enhancing perception through its intricate details and the relationships between different elements. The thoughtful interplay of different type of clays and glaze finishes, fosters an immersive experience that resonates deeply with viewers.
In conclusion, Ripples in Time serves as a compelling exploration of clay as a connection to human existence, encouraging thought and introspection. The Viewers are prompted to consider their own ripples in life, fostering a deeper connection between the art and their personal journeys. Each encounter with the sculptures not only enhances the aesthetic experience but also enriches self-understanding, relationships, and the fluidity of life itself.

Jeffrey’s second show at Park Hyatt New York was inspired by his love for New York City’s skyline during the pandemic. EDIFICE was an abstract interpretation of the city’s incredible scapes and captured the moment he gazed up towards the horizon to engage with this beautiful city we all love.
Almost a decade has passed since I decided to pursue an art career full-time. This decision coincided with the birth of my daughter, Natalia. At the time, I was unsure of how to make this transition, but I felt a strong desire to immediately implement changes to make my dream a reality.
I had been working in hospitality management for many years and was quickly progressing in my career. I had the chance to work at some incredible 5-star properties in New York City. However, to truly dedicate myself to my craft, I would need to leave the career that I had grown to love. After a thorough discussion with my now-wife, Katarzyna, we decided to take this leap of faith, and as they say, the rest is history.
After making this decision, I still needed to find a job, as we were a young couple with a newborn and needed to make ends meet. The opening of Park Hyatt New York was approaching, and the buzz surrounding the city was so high that I felt the temptation to return to management. However, I knew that I needed to stick to my plan of finding a job that would allow me the time to focus on my art as well.
After a series of interviews, I was offered the position of bellman as part of an incredible pre-opening team of hospitality professionals and enthusiasts. As this new chapter of my life with Park Hyatt New York began, I had no idea that my decision would set in motion a series of unexpected events that would transform my art career.
I later learned that the history of Park Hyatt New York is deeply intertwined with the arts. The Pritzker family, known for their love and enthusiasm for art, had created an atmosphere within the property that felt like a journey through a museum. From the ground floor lobby to the main lobby, guest rooms, and hallways, art was thoughtfully curated to inspire any art enthusiast. Park Hyatt New York even had its own dedicated art gallery space, the Avenue Gallery, making it the only hotel in New York City with such a feature.
While the prospect of showcasing my work seemed like a far-fetched dream, considering the caliber of artists who exhibited in the space, I was not discouraged. Soon enough, I was allowed to have my first solo exhibition in 2019.
Being a bellman has allowed me to pursue two passions that I love, and all of this has been made possible because of the opportunities and support provided by my Park Hyatt New York family.
